Usually when I put enough information into my head, something creative comes from my hands. http://www.etsy.com/shop/OddTonic is home to the overflow from my imagination. My first items were the result of research into eco-friendly fashion, which led to recycling a vintage biology book into paper beads.
I love recycling materials and so that is a priority in my etsy shop. I can’t stand “perfectly good” supplies going to waste either, so I have quite a hoard of what most people would call junk. Often, they are just art waiting for the right idea, technique or inspiration to strike! I am lucky enough to know many artists and crafters as well, so sometimes I am a happy recipient of scraps and “de-stashing” as well.
I’m always looking for the next project to catch my eye, a new technique to experiment with or an over-abundant supply to transform. If you have an idea or custom request, drop me a line! I get an amazing amount of inspiration from commissions and love a good challenge. Leave a comment or send me an email at msteward777 (at) gmail (dot) com!
I work with paper, wood, yarn, ribbon, fabric, beads and found objects. Nothing is off limits though! Check out my etsy store for the latest items! You can also “like” Odd Tonic on facebook for up-to-the-minute news, projects, frustrations, special offers and more! Thanks for sharing a bit of your time reading my blog and checking out my store! Have a great day!
